It was very surprising to learn that prior to the 1970's, most dinnerware and pottery usedin the U.S. was made in the Central Ohio Valley or Southern California. Today, nearly all is imported. This is why we became part of a growing number of people interested in "Vintage USA" made dinnerware and pottery.
